Serious question: Did Ron DeSantis have a stroke?

His big shot at CNN fell pretty flat

Politico on Wednesday, the day after Ron DeSantis’ non-Fox media debut, took note that his CNN interview with horror of a human Jake Tapper was completely overshadowed by the news that Donald Trump was likely to face another indictment:

The timing of Trump’s announcement that he’d received the target letter — which, as a reminder, he got Sunday — was so perfectly synced with DeSantis’ CNN appearance that we had to ask Trump world if it was intentional. Was the former president trolling his top 2024 opponent by taking over the news cycle? We were told that no, it wasn’t intentional — though Trump’s team didn’t mind how it rained on DeSantis’ parade.

This is a massive misreading of what actually happened and why the interview, which a lot of people were looking forward to (including me), was such a bust for Ron.
