Remember that wild racial ASU controversy from 2021?

Just caught up on the mega story in the New York Times last month that revisited the 2021 Arizona State University controversy with the video of minority students screaming at two other white students in what looks like an open study hall.

The author of the extensive article, Sarah Viren, very obviously intended to frame the incident and the events that followed as more complex than was originally assumed when the first two-minute clip went viral last year. But, umm… that didn’t really work…
